| EXODUS are the undeniable forefathers of thrash metal. They gained huge notoriety in the international underground scene as a result of the tape trading community in the early 80s. The immortal, must-have, thrash classic "Bonded By Blood" was released in 1985 via Torrid Records and inspired the likes of Testament, Death Angel, Vio-lence as well as many others. To this day "Bonded By Blood" is inspiring a whole new breed of thrash metal. Founding member and songwriter Gary Holt explains' "We have decided to call [the re-recording] 'Let There Be Blood'. We aren't trying to replace the original, that's impossible anyway. We are just giving these songs the benefit of modern production while featuring the current Exodus line-up, which have brought you the instant classics like shovel Headed Kill Machine and The Atrocity Exhibition. Let There Be Blood was Produced by Gary Holt and mixed by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Testament, Killswitch Engage) it also features the bonus track Hells Breath a never before recorded classic from back in the day | ||||||
